Now you know us snails are terribly fond of our little houses, so much so that we never go anywhere without them.  We pity all shell-less speciess naturally, but at least human children can have fun with a cardboard house.

I thoroughly approve of toys like this, no nasty polluting plastics which really upset us snails. 

Horrible plastic toys that have seen better days tend to be a permanent fixture at the tip.
